Probably shouldn't have used the word "arrogance" but as someone that's seen so many fraud "insiders" this summer I'm just a skeptic that's all. Has Clutch vouched for Plowman?

    I'm just a skeptic.

I'd be skeptical of anything "Drew" says lol.

Jones is better then Marcus, but Marcus is more of a SF anyways, and Terrence is just as good if not better then Markieff, also Jones is 3 years younger then the twins. Not saying that Jones is anywhere near enough for Dragic, but I don't see why the Suns wouldn't want him.

That might be the case. I just don't see them getting rid of a valuable part of their offense for another tweener PF, who in Basketballholic's opinion, can't shoot the ball to save his life.

I do wonder why PHO would still be trying to sign Zoran? It seems like their goal is to play together.

    Agreed,

Jones and the NOP pick is not going to sway the Pelicans to give up Dragic. We will have to give up more than that IMO.

Add Terry and our TPE we could get Bledsoe out of PHX  JK

Morey wouldn't let anybody take all of his lunch money. That's too much. Say bye bye to our bench that we barely have in the first place.

Goran will be a 7-year vet next summer and will be eligible for a max extension starting at a salary of somewhere around $18.5 million to $19.6 million.

At $18.5-$19.6 million starting salary on a 4-year deal with 4.5% raises that is $79-$83 million. PHX is going to have to come in at least at 4/70 to 5/90 to have a chance at keeping him. Let's say they skim by at 4/70. That's a starting salary of $15.7 million. And that's if Goran DOES indeed give them a hometown discount.

That means they'll be paying Goran, Bledsoe, and Thomas a total of over $36 million with Goran on a discount!! If Goran goes full boat on them that number could jump to $40 million for 3 point guards!!

And trade Isaiah Thomas??? Where? For what? Right now, Thomas has negative trade value. He's worth around 50-60% of what he's being paid. And if he blows up and bypasses Bledsoe or Dragic somehow (not very likely) then their trade value goes in the dumper.

And Goran could decide to walk. That's the thing with Goran. He could walk on them. So if you think they're going to trade Goran at the trade deadline...he'll be harder to move there because he'll have to indicate that he wants to stay with the team he is traded to..otherwise nobody is going to give up substantial assets for him only to watch him walk on them.

Now........if PHX doesn't move Goran you'd better not sleep on them moving Bledsoe after they re-sign Goran next summer. Bledsoe's 4 remaining seasons on that contract will be less money than what Minny was willing to pay him this off season for 4 seasons at the max. So he could very well become a trade chip again. Bucks, Pistons, even Twolves, or Rockets may still be involved here.
