Some of yall are just setting yourselves up again. When player X misses a practice there is going to be a trade speculation run in this thread of 10-100 posts. This is the team. Face it. Something may happen at the deadline but Morey is only interested in being a raper. Good odds that no GM feels like being raped in Feb either. The good news is that Howard/Motiejunas/Dorsey Jones/Motiejunas Ariza/Pap Harden/Daniels Bev/Terry Wins 52 games if healthy. Granted Harden will be exhausted from creating too much of the offense and trying to meet elevated expectations on defense.
So, to sum up this offseason, we waited forever for the LBJ shoe to drop and now we've waited a second forever for the Bledsoe shoe to drop. Yay. What shoe is next?
This... I don't necessarily doubt his insider status, but when these alleged insiders say something "will happen", they run the risk of their credibility being questioned. It's like when Drew said something "will happen Saturday", but by the end of the day nothing happened. But hey...maybe something happens. I'll gladly eat crow. I've just been skeptical from the start, and still am.
I wouldn't say "arrogant", although maybe it seems that way if he has to deal with too many naysayers. I'd say "optimistic". Me, I've seen too many deals turn into a fart in the wind. So I'll hope for something good and shrug if we have to wait into the season for a deal.
