Wow way to get paid. Been in the league for 4 years, have had two knee surgeries, and have missed half the season twice out of those 4 years.
I'm sure Morey is going to be searching for an upgrade at PG/PF all season. Cyber saying that we had initial inquiries that went nowhere is a lot different than Plow/Drew saying SOON and that for sure we would get a significant upgrade at PG this summer.
WOW thats a pretty good deal, 5 year at 14M. Morey please get on the phone. The Dragon belongs to us.
I don't know any of them personally but you have to take anything with a grain of salt - these discussions are so fluid that things can change before anyone with inside knowledge gathers that it has. It doesn't really discount the insider or the knowledge, just the fact that its rarely absolute truths that get disseminated to people not in the biz. At any rate, I'm still wondering what exactly Morey has in play, as our most prized asset is probably that NOP pick at this point.
Based on the "market" it seems like a fair deal. If Parsons got around 14-15 mil a year, Bledsoe should be in that range.
Even if there is, Suns will not be able to build a formidable front court without a good amount of cap space. A 3 G rotation with $35MM in guaranteed money is not the best way to build a contender.
Morey is calling the Suns organization right now offering his fattest pig for Dragic. Fingers crossed!!
True, that IT2 signing looks pretty bad right about now. Also, Lance Stephenson must be ready to fire his agent
I disagree with you, yes 3 pgs, but not 3 highly priced pgs. They paid I. Thomas good money, will pay Bledsoe good money, got a rookie, and so that leaves Goran. Why are they going to pay him good money as well? They aren't, so they are going to get something in return for him to upgrade another spot. No need for 3 highly priced pgs on the team.
Rich Paul man... This dude don't give 1 fck. And to those doubting Cyber.. This is the guy who broke the Dwight signing.
Seriously I was expecting Stephenson to get whatever Parsons was getting, not Channing Frye, totally wish we would of got him for that price.
So... This means that its either Rondo or Rubio. I'm betting on Rondo because we have already tried and he wants out of BOS.
They won't be bad enough to get a really talented front court player in the draft. The only way they'll be able to find someone is through trade (by using their other young assets).
