Don't blame you one bit. May be time for mods to finally lock this non-epic thread, unless Plow has something more to add. When Cyber does return, maybe he can just start a new thread with the latest he's hearing. So long, Cyber...
No it will be done with every piece of info on their, you cant stop people from sharing the info on other forums, you would have no clue who it is and you can't stop it. Lol at pubic executions.
J.R. vs. jopatmc Seriously though, starting a subscription site where you pocket the money for real insiders to post? Come on. As I said before, lame.
Side note, i actually liked having JTR around here, his stats threads were actually really high quality, and helped me learn and understand how to do it myself
Just like all BBholic / jopatmc previous preposterous basketball opinions which have proven to be wrong time and again have absolutely no impact on the future ridiculous stuff that he will post as gospel and shove it down the throats as facts.
He was pretty good for the most part but had this arrogant high and mighty attitude which rubbed posters the wrong way. His continued defense of McHale as a top top coach and subsequent belittling of those who did not agree with him or his emphasis that Rockets run zero plays contrary to evidence provided by OHHMMM (?) did not sit well with many.
Plowman!! Has anything new developed? With the Terry deal being official, i'd imagine that Bledsoe and Rondo are out of discussions since it would be impossible to trade for them until Papanikolaou (at least 1 month) or Terry (2 months) are able to be traded. So it down to Dragic and Rubio now?
You could have just sent them a personal message basketballholic instead of doing this publicly. I've noticed you do stuff like this when you are in your feelings. Calm down big timer it's only a sports blog. A pretty great one at that.
Oh god. I forgot about him. That guy was unbearable. Glad he's gone and I'd like to think I played a part in it. Bballholic doesn't really bother me at all and he knows quite a bit about the CBA. Sure, jtr knew how to use Tableau (as though that is a big deal) but he wanted people to sing his praises 24/7 and if you didn't he would whine in the Feedback section about it. It blew my mind that he was (supposedly) a 50+ year old adult but acted like a spoiled preteen.
After every game we lost it was, you bumping the fire mchale thread and then JTR sticking up for him, I remember the fun days  If he ever came back I would hope he would focus more on stats threads since their arnt many at all on CF's anymore which is a shame because it's what I most like. He was prpberbly the poster who repped me the most for my threads which always made me like him a little more. Happy to be in the minority on my thoughts on him but his stats ability was top notch
I know very little about journalism, but I think the importance of confidentiality is a pretty basic concept. There aren't a whole lot of people within the Rockets organization, for example, that actually have access to info. It's super risky for those that do have info to share it. So, if a member of this community receives privileged info its because someone trusts them with it. Even if insiders thought it was worth it to share info, why would they give up their source? And to who? I personally wouldn't break trust with a source to prove something to someone who wouldn't accept it otherwise.
