The team competed for a playoff spot for a good portion of the season. The bottom line is he played and the team was +6.whatever and he goes off the floor and they're -5.whatever. I have no clue what you are trying to say, but you are proving to me that you have closed off the old mind somewhere around 1996.
Plowman's source is special... Short Bus special But, honestly I think the 8/28 deadline is usually one month before training camp starts so teams usually want to get the rosters set unless they're working on a major trade.
This whole off-season after that initial big disappointment has just been meh for me haha. I'm willing to accept that this is the lineup we roll with to start the season and its fine. :grin:

We all have seen some of the most definite transactions & Deadlines (IE: Asik Dec 15, 2014 trade deadline, Gasol to Hou/CP3 to LAL) come and fall apart at the very last minute. There are transactions that are more certain to happen than others, but putting your reputation on the line to guarantee anything revolving human related transactions is gambling at best. Chris Sheridan gambled on his reputation by saying his sources were telling him that Lebron was 100% going to Cleveland. That gamble wasn't really even that ballsy, but there is good indication from his prior reporting that he was trying to boost his reputation & credentials by claiming to know something, and then telling the world "see.... I know something you all don't... I'm an insider". I sure hope that's not what's going on here. Plowman had a good rep before making guarantees which is why I think it's been noticed & believed in more than it usually would coming from someone like Jopatmc/BBH or KingDrew whatever. I guess we will wait to see what happens in 2 days, but I hope this a lesson for folks that feel like taking the Chris Sheridan approach to credibility.

We're so thirsty for good news that someone saying "this should get resolved in a week to 10 days" becomes "An insider said that something WILL DEFINITELY happen no later than 10 days from right now"
Whoever keeps coming up with deadlines is just guessing and having fun with the board, nothing more, nothing less..
Plowman never said that it would "go down" within the next 7-10 days.......he said we would hear something significant. As for a trade being annouced well in advance of when it actually closed......Love to Cleveland.
The second scenario is what's going on, Plowman has inside information, plowman said something will for sure happen by the 29th.
