If the idea was to trade Asik for the cap space necessary to sign Bosh, NOP should have been able and required to complete the trade by now. If they can't is it unreasonable to think DM could pull the plug on the trade and either keep Asik to use as a trade piece later or find another trade partner now (ATL) to upgrade our roster? Why are we held handcuffed to the agreed trade when it should have been expected for NOP to have completed it by now?
He does not have to be serious. I never said this guy was an insider. All I said is the Rockets need to bring in a big and that would make sense for them to do that. You don't have to be that bright or enlighten to come away that we need either a 4 or a 5 since we just gave up Asik. Its common knowledge.
Bring Dragic back! Good thing about his contract that it expires in 2016 (Durant Sweepstakes). A defensive 4 and Okafor and match Parsons. I have a feeling that one of our prospect is going to surprise us (in a good way) this season.
It is a tough because the insider culture, entirely enabled and created by the Clutchfans populous, allows someone to draw basic conclusions or post something crazy and develop a binary among the board. Doesn't mean they aren't one, it is just absurdly tough to verify one way or the other leading to a natural well-founded skepticism. With that said... #TEAMROE #Blessed I want to believe but ROE is passing my gut check.
But why can't we if (assuming) they'd need to clear the space to do so and consummate the deal. Aren't they not keeping up with their end of the deal?
