Hibbert sucks dude. And If the Suns do sign Bledsoe to a large deal, between Dragic, Bledsoe, & Thomas that's A LOT OF MONEY tied up in a tiny backcourt.
The sky is falling! the sky is falling! Of course their not interested in Hibbert and his 10 million dollar /yr contract...That has negative value...His head and game are gone. There was a time when I thought he was going to blow up, but I long ago gave up on him. Roy is a mess and has no consistency/continuity to his game. And PHX IS NOT looking to win now. They want young players and picks..so that when it's time to make their move they can get the talented size they need. people say...Oh, they already have picks...They are currency which gets you what you want eventually. They have no leverage with Goran. Bledsoe is likely about to get paid. The additional PG's have already been acquired. His upcoming UFA status looms. He wants to play for a contender and get paid. There is a dearth of PG's. Their owner is a notorious cheapskate. I mean, c'mon.... Throwing everything else aside...Do you really think Daryl is standing pat?
True, but I'm having a hard time believing an offer centered around a TPF plus a late lotto pick is the best Suns can get for a near all-star player, even if he may leave in a year.
IF we get Drago, Lets Roll out an All LEfty Line up DMO Jones Pap Beard Dragon. How do you defend that?
Somebody just needs to create an Complain Thread and sticky it throughout the season so so members can stop fighting with each other lol
Damn son. This man has only posted 59 times in the last 9 years and is a contributing member. I'd hate to read the other topics that inspired a response.
I have no idea if you or every other insider is legit or not, but I will most definitely agree with this statement. Especially since Morey declined Parsons' offer sheet. Despite the offseason, I still trust Morey.
To be fair, IIRC, what drew said first was that we'd get our pg soon, not that we'd get Dragic. The name popped up later, but the idea was always that a pg upgrade was coming, so what Plowman is saying now isn't that surprising. My guess is everyone involved figured Bledsoe would have given in by now, so that would have allowed Phoenix to move on with Dragic's situation.
Swinging for the fences is not a negative. Cannot fault Morey for trying. Bosh staying with Miami and Parsons stabbing us in the back was unfortunate but part of the risk of being aggressive in offseason.
To me, it seems Detroit and Phoenix have always been willing to match any offer. I base this on two comments: 1) according to the article claiming Monroe would take the QO, two teams have offer Monroe the max, but both were concerned Detriot would match 2) Bledsoe: "they are using RFA against me" I think the real hangup in both situations is the 5th year.
I think you have it backwards. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/12842/thursday-bullets-157 "When I was growing up I was totally left-handed. I wrote left-handed, held a fork left-handed and shot the ball left-handed. But when I was in the eighth grade I tried to dunk on a guy and he undercut me and I landed on my left hand and broke my left wrist. After that, I taught myself to write with my right hand, eat right-handed and shoot the basketball with my right hand. Little did I know back then that something like hurting my wrist as a kid would help me as a NBA player. I made three straight left-handed hook shots on Tuesday against Milwaukee when the double-team came from the top side. Then, in the second half when they didn’t double team I could get to the middle of the lane and get to my right-handed hook shot." Yes, what he said.
