It could easily be fixed, makes plenty of sense for all teams involved. If the Suns re-sign Bledsoe, don't want to re-sign Dragic, makes sent to trade him for as much value as possible on a rental contract Young is a good player, 76'rs are trying to loose, makes sense to move him for young players and picks. TPE, Jones, rights to Papanikolaou and Pelicans pick for Dragic Motiejunas, Gee, Capela, Hopson, Canaan and Rockets 2017 first for Young. Both trades work and IMO make sense. Dragic/Beverley/Smith Harden/Daniels/Johnson Ariza Young/Adrian Howard/Dorsey Plus MLE, BAE and vet min signing to add depth to front court bench.
hahaha ... I wonder how many times will the TPE be traded around, until people finally get it's not a tradable commodity.
They obviously don't understand it. That's why when I see people post these trades involving it and other pieces I stop caring about everything else they say.
I completely understand it, and have for a while. Its much easier to say : TPE, Jones for (blank) player Then to say Jones for (blank) players who's salary will be absorbed by our TPE In every damn trade idea I have.
Thadeus young? Really? Uhg.. 6'8 pf... do we not need height anymore? This is starting to get ridiculous. Morey probably just wants to be the tallest one out there.
The only assets required to trade for Young is salary matching (non-guaranteed or expiring are better), the willingness to take on 2 years of salary, plus some kind of draft pick. Pretty sure we have the assets to trade for Young, but whether he is much of a fit here is more of a question? I think he'd fit alright off the bench - not sold on him as a starter here.
