The one that mentions Dragic as being under contract, so what are we gonna get him with in a sign-and-trade, Francisco Garcia?, and not mentioning that we aren't bereft of assets (I hate the word, it's Morey catnip). I admit I might have missed something there because it's late and I'm tired. I think we have the goods to upgrade, but it's gonna wait until after Love goes to Cleveland...no matter who we might acquire, nothing happens til the stars get moved, and all the teams who pretend like they had no real hope can move on to Plan C, D, etc.
You can package things with sign and trades, it's just the (formerly known as) BYC rules prevent much in the way of salary matching (which is why for example a Bledsoe Monroe double s&t is difficult without a lot of salary work on Detroit's end)
Ok. I'll explain. The d00d said that we would get Goran in a sign/trade, and we could give him credit when it happened. So I looked at what we had as an option to S&T - the only thing being Garcia. And since you can't package other players with the player you are signing and trading, he's living in fantasy land. Of course we have some nice stuff we could use to trade for Dragic (if that's what the Suns wanted to do?), use the TPE to send some picks, or ungauranteeds to move young talent over there, but it won't happen in a sign and trade...
