So much this. Also, Sarver is a huge Dragic fan. He was really pissed when Blanks traded Dragic to Houston. Sarver also overruled Blanks (who preferred Fleton) during the summer of 2012 and personally negotiated with Goran. If McDonough wants to keep his job he will never trade Dragic to Houston for spare parts.

I bet there are quite a few deals, among various teams, which aren't getting past the discussion phase, because everyone is waiting to see what happens with Bledsoe and Dragic.
Be realistic about who he has had to play with and also the status of today's NBA. Lebron James couldn't get it done being "the guy" on a team with 2 other hall-of-famers. The best talent Love has been able to play with is Rubio. And the reality is the rest of his mates have been worse than Lebron's former Cleveland mates most of the time. There's a reason why superstars are teaming up in the NBA. Because that's what it takes to win in this league. Great players have to play together and play together for some time to win a championship. That's just the reality of the league. Love is elite. I wished he were a Rocket. And we should be willing to trade everybody not named Howard and Harden to get him.
So how would we send back 12-14 mil to suns? Gee/hopson/Powell and resign Garcia to a 6 million deal with only 2 mil guarantee?
We'd only have to scrape together $9.764 million, Tim. +50% rule. That is, if we gave him his absolute max. One of our young PFs plus one of our young PGs plus Gee/Hopson/Powell/Covington/Hamilton (re-signed) would be enough salary to get it done.
This Bledsoe ordeal could be what the Rockets and the Suns might be waiting for. Suns offer Bledsoe $48 million..in which if he rejected...the only team looking for a possible point guard that have cap room is the Rockets. I feel the Rockets approached the Suns and are working together to make sure Bledsoe only re-signs for $48 million so that the Suns can have their future PG. Dragic asked for the Player Option and its pretty obvious he will opt out and ask for the max (which every player is getting nowadays). Obviously the Suns won't be able to afford that so its better to get rid of him now than ever.
Phoenix. Despite how young they are, Phoenix is in a win now mode. So we are not getting dragic unless morey can get creative with a three team deal.
Phoenix isn't going to pay both guards max or near max salaries. Well sure, they could, but after signing Thomas and drafting Ennis with the 18th pick? It wouldn't make any sense, not to me, at any rate. One would think they either move Dragic to open up room for Bledsoe's contract, and to get a nice pick and perhaps a young big man with potential in return, or arrange a sign and trade in order to move Bledsoe and remove the headache. Certainly not an unreasonable possibility, in my opinion. The longer this drags out, the more unlikely they keep both.
Let me be clear here, Bima. When I post _ones, I'm not writing to you. I know you realize that _ones can't shoot a basketball. So, remember that. It's not written to you. When I write _ones it is written to those posters who incessantly PUMP _ones at the rest of us who understand he's not the long-term fit at the 4 spot for us unless he learns to shoot a basketball. And the odds of that happening at this stage of his career at age 22, going into his 3rd season..are very low. But they keep doing it over and over again. And practically all of them are clueless that he's probably not even going to be here next season. Yes, I know that missing J is annoying. Believe me it's annoying. I was annoyed with it the whole season. But it's a response mechanism to the true annoyances here on this board. Namely, posters who are non-contributors who get on here and constantly trash veteran contributing member posters over and over again....calling them idiots, and trashing out any insiders that bring tidbits of what's going on behind the scenes that they should be thankful to have access to. Instead they attack, attack, attack...over and over and over. And that comes from posters with like 250 posts who haven't given a single dime to the site. That is annoying. So, I'm sorry that _ones and Haren bothers you so much. Maybe you shouldn't read my (or Carl's) posts. But I'm not going to change it as long as that nonsense is going on. And even though Carl Herrera bugs me with his incessant No D Harden posts, I'm going to keep reading his stuff...because he has made and will continue to make much more valuable contributions to this board than non-contributing members who don't know who is who and come on here and trash guys like him. He's earned that latitude and respect. If non-contributing members are going to come on here and annoy veteran contributing members of this board, trash them out for giving insider tidbits, and call them idiots...then I'm going to feed those annoyances a little small piece of the annoyance that they are. There are much greater annoyances around here right now than a missing J. With respect, now you know how it feels. And Love is well out of our reach. Once he got wind of Cleveland's interest, he'd probably tell all teams other than the Cavs (SCREAMIN' STEPHEN A SMITH SAYS SO, any-way!) that he wouldn't re-sign with them. I do hope Bledsoe gets signed soon so we can see how this Dragic bidness plays out.
And that's the show-stopper for me. I'd have to trust Morey if he did that. If he throws in the Pelies pick..then Morey must believe the guy is a true top 10 player like Hornacek said.
Just because someone joined after you, or does not post as much as you, doesn't mean they are wrong and deserve less respect. I am a long time fan and a long time clutchfan viewer, I just never had much to comment on so I never joined up. This is my 286 post which puts me above your grouping of 250 posts and below so I believe I deserve all your respect lol. My spoiler joke about parsons not getting traded was just a joke cuz you used to say that all the time, I know he wasn't traded but he is not a Rocket anymore and you were the one that said there was NO WAY he was leaving... own up. Finally, I don't think everyone that disagrees with you or some of the other posters (ie Carl Herrera) are always being disrespectful or annoying, but if all I have to do is send $1.00 to clutch and post every 2 min for 30 straight days and then I get to talk down to people then let me go get my wallet... I try not to disrespect anyone (although I like to post some light-hearted jabs here and there as it makes work less boring) I think it's annoying that you think you are better just because you post more and that's not what this site is about. sorry, just giving my opinion, carry on.
