ill try my best... Sounds like the only way Dragic leaves Phoenix(hypothetical) is if the Suns get Bledsoe to sign. If Bledsoe were to be traded then the Suns would need Dragic. So i guess watch the Bledsoe contract negotiations
I'm curious how would this work. He will be a free agent next year. And no one will actually know his market value by then. He can probably command anywhere from Lowry money to max. The Rockets may be able to get a guarantee that he'll stay assuming we "match" the best offer elsewhere. But I can't imagine they can work out a deal beforehand.
Yep, possibly. And I'm sure this wasn't counted on... http://www.csnnw.com/nba/sources-suns-relationship-star-eric-bledsoe-verge-irreparable
Of course you feel this way. You want to continue to post above reproach but maintain the right to hammer the next person when you see fit. Keep on driving down that one way street. Keep on keepin on.
Thank you. I find any type of positive feedback on a random trade idea to be one of the crowning achievements of this here board.
Without no other sources but myself, i checked the Rocket's webpage, there is no trade ,. If anything would change, i would take it to the public.. Relax peoplez
Hopefully the PF that Plowman refers to is Kevin Love. Per David Thorpe (who trains Kevin Martin, Courtney Lee and others), Kevin Love is way better than people think he is: http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/70018/kevin-love-is-way-better-than-you-think
That's like Raymond Felton and ish smiths trainer saying Isaiah Canaan is way better than people think. Consider the source before you crown a king.
David Thorpe may not be right-- he noted in the video that there are people working for NBA teams who disagree with his view. Zach Lowe and Bill Simmons spoke about the same thing. However, I am pretty sure that David Thorpe knows more basketball than a random fan like you. For one thing, he watches and breaks down much more game video than a fan does. More important, David Thorpe explained in the video the specific reasons why he thinks Kevin Love is an elite player-- the fact that he gets difficult rebounds out of his immediate area, his outlet-passing which allowed Corey Brewer to score a ton of transition basket, the fact that his defensive abilities are underrated, etc. If you disagree with these points, feel free to explain your view. Simply question Thorpe's qualifications is not a particularly useful way to discuss anything, unless all you want to do it argue for the sake of arguing.
Yeah, I don't always agree with Thorpe, but he knows his stuff. I have to apologize for using a couple of terms I shouldn't have earlier. Should've just said "Thank you, Plowman and please keep the info coming.". Got carried away. It happens. #dragic2hou
Kevin Love's issue isn't that he doesn't have great skills, it's that his skills are complimentary. He'd be great with a star perimeter player, but he's never going to carry you as the central weapon of an offense, or the late game go to guy. If you can just leave him to shooting, rebound, and outlets, get him the ball for the odd face-up/post up, you've got the best guy in the nba for the job. if you want him to be "the guy", you aren't winning much.
Everything you said is true but let me ask you this. How many guys in the league can you say are "the guy"? There's only one guy. Durant is borderline. I'd say Davis has the next best chance of being "that guy" but he's a few years away. Anyways, back to the original point...My biggest gripe with Love is that he doesn't know how to win. That's partly on him and a lot has to do with his crappy supporting cast he's had over the years. But if you pair Kevin love with another superstar who's been to the playoffs let alone the best player in the league he's going to look godly.
