One of those players whose size and athleticism is only an advantage in Europe because it's not NBA standard & without the skills or shooting to make up for it. Waste of time for the Rockets, IMO.
538 says we are 1 of top 5 teams in NBA (right now).... sadly that would only be good enough for #4 in West http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/...-really-good-like-golden-state-warriors-good/ TL;DR: GSW > SAS > CLE > OKC > HOU
^^ Good thing they don't play the games on fivethirtyeight.com. But I have no problem w/ that assessment. I might nudge us ahead of OKC.
WTF, Spurs going after Sasha Kaun too. Why not the Rockets? He'd be a cheap trade (draft rights from Cavs) and signing to cover the back up C position which is harder to fill because there's simply less options out there. Morey will get a PG but C is a lot harder to find.
Capela is a project who has shown he is still 2 years away. Flashy throw downs doesn't mean he deserves floor time.
I see what you're saying but we can agree to disagree. He looked great in limited minutes in the playoffs and it wasn't just flash, it was substance across the board (save for FT's). He's not a 2yr project, I can't get on board with that. He does indeed deserve floor time.
Not quite sure how Reggie Williams/ Matt Bonner can have an negative 3.3 /2.7 rpm in 4 minutes of projected play.
I agree with you. One thing you could easily see when he was guarding Curry on a few plays is that he has good natural footwork and instincts. With a year of training and playing time he will only get better in my opinion.
