People need to understand the Rockets don't need Ty Lawson to vastly improve their guard rotation. I honestly can't think of a single game where Jet or Bev got more than 5 or 6 assists. I'm sure they did, but double digits? Doubtful. DJ Augustin, Jarrett Jack, etc. are guys who can crack 10 assists in a game - they can create. They have some major flaws, sure, but combine them with Bev and you've got a great duo. We don't need a star or even a starter. We need an upgrade to the rotation.
I sort of like Shabazz, but they aren't looking to dump him straight up. He's a sweetener for dumping Anderson or McRoberts, and I'm not sure I really want to take on either of them. Jarrett Jack is not very good anymore, and Chalmers is worse.
DJA and JJ are not going to help this team. We need a talented player, not just a PG. Lawson completes this team.....probably.

To a certain point, I think that's true - we need someone who can run the offense in the second unit. But in terms of James Harden looking for a wing that can play make, I think there are very few people you will take the ball out of JH's hands for (in terms of being the primary ball handler/primary offense-runner)
