Feigen just burns Mavs and Clips in one tweet: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">If nothing else, either the Mavs or Clips will win an elimination game in Houston could not a few months ago. <a href="https://t.co/ikfqE5OGfW">https://t.co/ikfqE5OGfW</a></p>— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/status/618849563458207745">July 8, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
They're older and I ain't taking neither over Leanard. CP3 and Marc have done exactly what as the "lead guys?"
Kawhi was the 3rd guy when SAS won. In no way the lead guy. He may have been the lead guy last season and Spurs were booted out the first round. And to answer your question they have done much more so far than AD as the lead guy if that is what this comes down to.
We'll need a new term. DeAndred? Clipped? At least Bosh never truly committed to the Rockets before backing away.
I knew that was coming so that's why I mentioned that. They haven't done jack was my point so you can't use that argument and say Leanard isn't a lead guy. The funny part is that he is exactly that at the moment. The Spurs go as he goes and they would have ran away with the division if he was healthy all season (I know Dwight was also injured so perhaps not).
Point is any team would take Marc Gasol and CP3 to lead them as #1 options than Kawhi Leonard. I don't think this is disputable.
