Cyberx not having any news tells me 1 of 2 things.. A.) Rockets really have nothing. B.) Morey has something brewing that he really doesn't want out at all.
Expecting anything from LMA and Kevin Love was a pipe dream. There should be no reason, to be bummed out by it. I am glad that they tried to reach out to Mo Williams as a cheap backup. The Smith situation is problematic. Everyone would like to see him take up the 2.49 M offer, for the sake of the team, but that is unrealistic. Jones has ended the season on a disappointing note, despite showing some progress in the earlier part of the playoffs. D-Mo needs rehab after back surgery. Harrell is a rookie who hasn't signed with the team. Woods is unreliable. Morey should have offered Josh the entire MLE. If he refused that, then so be it.
Ariza or Dmo will not go anywhere, at least this year! Morey really wants Rubio, but he never do trade like this
Add +2 mil to everything becoz its based on 67 and its almost certain it will be 69. And indys im not sure if it counts scolas cap hold. Wow..the clippers have no shame. And i thought the kings were the joke of the league.
if your opportunities go up as far as shots, your efficiency usually does not go up initially. It's an adjustment period for players that can handle it. The same thing happen to Harden when he got to houston. his numbers suffered as his shots went up from one year to the next initially. it shouldn't come as a surprise. it's very difficult to maintain the same numbers of less than 10 shots when you start to increase significant volume immediately. KL did a very solid job last year being featured offensively really for the first time. The trend is definitely positive for that guy.
I did NOT put up the dongshot post. Please check my history. I asked the Clutch crew to see if anyone was using my username.
Asinine AF. Kawhi is great but is no shape or form the 3rd best 2 way player in the game. I guess you forgot guys like Marc Gasol and CP3
Not all of them though. Some players actually get in for academic reasons. See Bradley Beal. 4.0 GPA in medicine
I can buy the increased offense argument - I remember the Harden dip very well, and I still think Kawai is a fantastic player - top 10 for sure. But I'm telling you just from the eye test (I catch a lot of SA games) that Kawai struggled a bit even with wide open shots. Typically the featured scorer loses efficiency on having to be the one who is getting double & triple teamed as teams scheme defensively for them and that was true of Kawai too, but I'm telling you even where he found himself open as a result of some ace passing, Kawai's shooting was very iffy last year. Maybe he was like that the year before, but I was surprised to see him struggle because I too was under the impression he was a relatively efficient offensive player.
Kawhi Leonard to me is an all star caliber player because of his impact defensively. Judging by just offense, he's a step below an all star player. He has the ability to create his own shots yes, but I wouldn't take him to be the #1 option on a championship contender. He's over rated when people call him a super star.
Not sure why you constantly troll us highly polarized, black & white assessments like this. There's some middle ground here that you would have us ignore as part of your headlong rush to judgment.
