Stop with this down and the dumps garbage. Professionals don't sit around crying because one player didnt sign with us. We just signed two key role players to very team friendly contracts. Don't give me this crying bs.

Need to buy Morey a life is good t-shirt.

    Not giving any info?

Maybe they have something brewing that they really don't want out..

Last time that happened we ended up with James Harden...

If they're 'not telling you much', on what basis can you tell us that they are 'down and in the dumps'? I think we aren't supposed to read too much into that post.

Right. Especially since morey has been saying all along that something like LMA was "unlikely" and that the most likely plan was to resign our own guys.

I can't imagine that llull was that big of a bummer.

Forgot that Wroten was buried somewhere in Philly. Probably could trade Dorsey and a 2nd for him.

YoI can't rebut someone who won't hear anyone else's logic. You're furious we haven't spent the MLE on a guard this offseason. Who would you have spent it on? Joseph? Stuckey? Both made more than the MLE, so they aren't even attainable. Just saying we could have signed this guy or that guy last year is silly logic. They could have helped, or they could have been a detriment to the team. It cuts both ways. The bottom line is we went to the western conference finals last year and are bringing back the same team, just healthier. We added Dekker, and can still make moves to improve the roster. There's no need to panic on July 6th.

The offseason is going exactly as planned. We're taking steps to bring back our entire roster, and trade the excess pieces for a player that can contribute. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath.

My thought is that Morey is going to sit back and hope for a Jeremy Lamb / Donte Green situation coming out of Summer League, where a guy shows out to the point that we can flip them for a good piece.

I don't know why, Morey got his undersized PF in the draft. That's gotta count for something.

The way Lull and his agent led us on gave us blue balls.

Maybe it forced Morey's hand, having to look at trading players he would rather keep (Ariza?) in order to get that needed point guard.

Ain't saying it's gowanns to happen. Just wondering.

    Long, long offseason.

Down and in the dumps is probably a bit of an exaggeration.

I'd imagine there's a bit of frustration with LMA choosing a conference rival and Llull spurning us.

...but how is that sentiment any different than last summer? We tried to get Melo. We nearly had Bosh. Both left us at the altar yet we moved forward and won the friggin division. Not to mention, a WC Finals appearance.

    We'll be fine.

A little bit. Did not know about the injury history. Just remembered him with a triple-double and playing like a one-man wrecking crew against us. And he's tall. That is all.
