I'm pretty much ready to give up on Plan (LM)A and move on to Plan B. Re-sign Smoove, make a big run at trading for Lawson.
This. Udrih is a legit backup PG, he played well for Memphis when Conley was down. Would be a nice addition.
I wonder what Lawson could be had for now that the market is kinda dried up with Rondo going to Sac town and Dallas having no way of trading for him
SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH MEEEEEE. I've loved Udrih since he was with the Spurs. People said Dragic would be like Beno when he came into the league. He's a great passer. Top 20 playmaker in the league and will come by cheap as dirt with a vet min. He wants another championship and could back up Bev amazingly.
I'm sold on keeping the core around. Bev and Brew locked up now. Josh may leave us for money and I'm okay with that. We can bring Scola back. Trade TJones and KPap for a scorer/shooter at the SG.. I'll admit this myself, I got obsessed with getting that third star and it clouded my judgement of how good this team is

Ahhh gotcha. Understandable. I agree with you. Just I think Iggy gets TOO much publicity for being a pile of **** in many ways.
Here's how we look right now: Beverley / Johnson Harden Ariza / Brewer / Dekker DMo / TJones / Harrell Howard / Capela Still have KJ, Terry, and Smith to make decisions on. We also have the MLE and Prig/Papa non-guaranteed contracts to bring in other players. So many directions we can still go, even LMA isn't off the table. We could: SnT Terry SnT KJ (using a portion of the MLE) Trade Papa, Prigioni, TJones Add in a few picks, and that could look really attractive to Portland. Still…..gotta convince LMA.
