Well the Clips are officially done. Literally no way they can make up for this. They may not even be a playoff team now: Golden State Houston San Antonio OKC Memphis Dallas New Orleans Phoenix All of those are clearly better. Utah will improve and the Kings could be sneaky good this year. Now the question is…..any way we can pry Paul or Blake away? Maybe Blake for DMo, Capela, Papanikolaou, Prigioni, TJones, and 2 1st rounders. Very likely they won't do it, but worth a call.
Ya Spurs would join Rockets and Warriors battling for the top 2 seeds if they get LMA...Suns have no shot at a top 3 seed if they get LMA
Portland and LAC are now clearly a tier below us, Memphis is a little stronger, Dallas is still a 6-8.
This. Clippers aren't going anywhere. They'll get Koufos or something and still be a top 5 team in the west.

Koufos cannot replace DeAndre. He was huge for them last season, especially when Griffin was out. The Clippers are screwed. The West has cannibalized itself enough this offseason that Morey really just needs to maintain our core from last year and get a respectable PG and we're easily a Top 3 team barring injuries(hell, maybe even with injuries).
They only have $2.1 to spend besides minimums. Koufos isn't signing to a number barely above his minimum. They will be lucky to be a #7 or 8 seed in the west.
