What is it with all these 2nd meetings ! If the Spurs felt that good about LMA or weren't scared they might not get him they wouldn't ask for a second meeting ! Leave him alone and let him chose already !!!!!
So if Spurs get a second meeting, and Rockets do not ask for one or do not get one... What does it mean?
If you want to be real optimistic, you could hope it means he chose Rockets, and is scheduling 2nd meeting with other teams to formally and respectively tell them his decision.
It means we better resign Josh Smith and trade Jones and picks for a PG and let Beverly and Brewer walk
That... and a combination of not going after any other free agents. I think we got LaMarcus, and are waiting for LaMarcus to officially choose us so we don't get burned like last time and then we'll execute the capsaving trades with Philly or S&T with Portland. Probably not, but I can dream.
The fact that Pop wants a second meeting means SA is not confident LMA is theirs. Doc says Suns have no chance. That leaves Dallas.
Not bad take I remember Dwight wanting to tell the lakers face to face he was not coming back then ....However not sure if he told the rest of the teams he wasn't going face to face????
Too much smoke coming out of SA for Aldridge to not go there. The second meeting request though is interesting. You would think if he was locked up that they wouldn't need one. At the same time I find it weird you haven't heard anything rockets related since the "floored" comments. Houston obviously doesn't leak info that much.
LMA isn't coming here... and it has everything to do with the HOU-DAL rivalry. His home town friends are telling him don't go to Houston. City-wise, SA isn't a rival to either city.
...and Houston I guess. I think it's funny how there's been zero speculation about Houston's chances. Which makes me think LMA's camp isnt giving **** away. We know There's no leaks in Morey's ship.
