I don't know if you have looked at it but he was a 25% 3pt shooter that season and only 45% from the field and he is supposed to be a PF. Also look at his range. 3-10 ft .390 10-16 ft .314 16 - 3pt .363 So can you please explain to me how that was a great year for him? Is he a good defender? I think so, but he needs to take a ton of shots to get his points. There is no reason this guy should be chucking over 100 and now about 200 3's a season when he is a lifetime .279 shooter from 3 point land.

First of all, i wasn't saying this is a great year for him. This is the latest season when he was the 2nd or 3rd option of the team, which he would also be if he comes to Houston. And, NBA is not a "if-you-shoot-better-than-you-win game". It's a "if-you-get-more-points-than-you-win game". So i just don't understand why people argue about how bad or how many he shoots. Just look at his On Court / Off Court stats, which can tell us how he changes the game. Net Points per 100 Possessions +8.2 how great was that? Same stat from James Harden this season: +7.3 Dwight: +6.3 I buy those stats when those player played enough possessions, which they sure did. I'm not trying to convince everyone that Josh is a great forward. What i want to say is just, that he is just not that bad and he really fits this rockets.
