Yep. He wants to win but on his own terms. Also lurking a portland board a while ago apparently he was miffed about not being the star there. That Lilliard was the one getting all the shoe deals and commercials but not he. The more I think about it the more it seems The Suns may be the team that actually gets him. That's fine. I bet the Spurs fans would be fine with it too.
The problem I have with that comparison is that Dragic made it VERY CLEAR that Houston was not on his list. Within mere moments after his trade request leaked Tuesday night, reporters knew that Houston was not on it. Some even knew reasons why. On the other hand, Aldridge did grant Houston a meeting, and from what little we've heard, he really seemed to enjoy it. I agree with you that the result is likely the same -- the player probably isn't coming to Houston. But there's a big piece of the puzzle that is missing, and whatever it is, it's quite different than the Dragic chase.
Lmao  Dnt doubt woj giys. He has source from lma camp. He may be the only one who knows whats going on.
I don't understand the hate, if I were in his shoes I would take my time making the decision, especially if its not a short contract. Give the man some time, let him make the best decision for him in his own time. There are alot of factors to take into consideration.
Heh, that wasn't me. It is a post I quoted from this user: frazm23 from 02-15-2013, 01:05 PM in another thread.
If lma thinksbthat knight is better than lillard he doesnt know enough what is the eastern conference.
And they got a meeting with Carmelo last year when they were at best, 4th on his "list". (New York, Chicago, LA, Houston or Dallas, Dallas or Houston) Hell, he's meeting with nearly a third of the league! Heat | Knicks(cancelled) | Lakers | Mavs | Raptors | Rockets | Spurs | Suns | Blazers He's not interested in all those teams. Was Houston even supposed to meet with him from the beginning? According to Shams, he was only "considering" meeting with Houston. They got a courtesy meeting. Right, something is missing. Nothing more infuriating when you hear/see report after report he wants to play with a center and the Rockets have Dwight Howard sitting right there. Instead, Robin Lopez! Tyson Chandler!
The posters complaining about Aldridge taking his time & comparing it to Dwightmare are idiots. Facts: Free agency has been LESS than two whole days. "Dwightmare" was an event that stretched over more than half a season! With Dwight waffling on leaving the Magic, demanding a trade, rescinding demand, threatening to opt out and then out of the blue opting in at the last minute.

Beyond Blazers, only contender for Aldridge that he's clear about organization, about role for him: Spurs. Honestly, these players not wanting to play for the Rockets leads me to believe the stuff about a lot of people in the league not liking Dwight. Because everything else makes the Rockets a pretty damn appealing choice.
