Do you really thinks Aldridge will choose us?

It's not just that, it's also possible 7 game playoff matchups against Gasol, Dwight and (maybe) DeAndre.

Looking at it from a high level, I agree with you. But when you analyze the roster with LMA in the mix, Ariza becomes much more valuable than DMo, who would be a 20-25 MPG backup at the 4 & 5 (still valuable).

I asked him this in his thread, haven't heard back yet. But his tweet didn't mention whether BYC applies or not, just that it'd be possible to use Bev's salary in a S&T to facilitate a trade for LMA.

cool, had not seen that.(not a twitter user)

fact remains, a SnT to NY for any decent amount will still help tremendously in keeping Ariza if they get a shot at Aldridge

I can agree with that. Ariza is a lot easier to replace than DMo would be.

This. LMA w/out DMo >> LMA w/out Ariza, IMO.

I agree with this. In a vacuum I'm much more high on Dmo that Ariza but if you could add LMA while keeping Ariza than Dmo isn't as valuable.

It'd be the same though if we could add KD, I'd trade Ariza well before DMo.

We thought this at the DL, too. (But I hope you're right.)

    At power forward.

The San Antonio Spurs were 9.7 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Tiago Splitter playing center.

    No question.

If the Rockets were fortunate enough to be able to roll out a front line of
Ariza / LMA / Howard.....that would be sick!

Nothing will happen. When we least expect it, are when Morey attacks.

This is an underwhelming offseason. I think we were really set on trying to get Llull and that fell through.

    LMA is going to SA.

This, plus all the veteran bigs will be busting their nuts for a chance to sign with this team.
