Looking at it from a high level, I agree with you. But when you analyze the roster with LMA in the mix, Ariza becomes much more valuable than DMo, who would be a 20-25 MPG backup at the 4 & 5 (still valuable).
I asked him this in his thread, haven't heard back yet. But his tweet didn't mention whether BYC applies or not, just that it'd be possible to use Bev's salary in a S&T to facilitate a trade for LMA.

I agree with this. In a vacuum I'm much more high on Dmo that Ariza but if you could add LMA while keeping Ariza than Dmo isn't as valuable. It'd be the same though if we could add KD, I'd trade Ariza well before DMo.

No question. If the Rockets were fortunate enough to be able to roll out a front line of Ariza / LMA / Howard.....that would be sick!
Nothing will happen. When we least expect it, are when Morey attacks. This is an underwhelming offseason. I think we were really set on trying to get Llull and that fell through. LMA is going to SA.
