I think Gerald Green for partial MLE could work! Say 2 years at $5 million or we can do a contract like K-pap....full or close to full MLE with a non guarantee 2nd year. Not saying Harden ISN'T a defensive liability but I will be completely floored if Kanter's offensive game ever reach Harden's level. You can accept his deficiencies on the defensive end (and it's not all that bad anymore) because Harden's offense is elite.
If we re-sign Bev, Smith, and Brewer to reasonable deals this offseason is a win to me. Then trade T.Jones and maybe a pick for a PG, preferably one that can compete with Bev for the starting job. That's a ton of depth and plenty of assets to tweak during the season as needed. Bev/???/Terry Harden/Brewer Ariza/Brewer/Dekker D-Mo/Smith Dwight/Capela

Was really looking at the Bucks roster and the moves they made...Acquired Grevis Vasquez, drafted Rashad Vaughn...there are so many guards on this team... Ennis, Vasquez, Mayo, Bayless, Vaughn and MCW Any chance at being able to acquire Jerryd Bayless...I think he would actually be a temporary stop gap, but a decent option for PG help if Bev is gone.And considering they just offered max dollars to Greg Monroe...perhaps the Rockets could offer 2 2nd rounders and Papa for Dudley and Bayless?

cyberx, have you heard anything in regards to Carmelo asking out? The Afflalo signing was actually a decent bargain but they missed out on Monroe who seemed giftwrapped for New York and I give them like a 0.001% chance at Aldridge. This is a team that probably won't be .500 out East yet again which is a joke. Houston and Melo just seems like a potential fit if the Rockets miss out on Aldridge. I don't personally want to trade away Ariza/DMo/Capela for Melo, but if Morey is all about that 3rd star then I think it's possible.
