That's a couple of expensive-ass suits sitting on the sidelines looking dismayed at the collection of lottery pick players and garbage men.
Are you serious? You want to be the worst team in the NBA for 3+ years? Most sixers fans are not happy with what has been doing on over there. It sounds cool from the outside, but I guarantee you these fans here will not stand being the worst team in the NBA for years and years. Hell we made it to the WCF and fans are still b****ing. Honestly, I wouldn't want to take that route either.
why dam? surly paying wade 50 mill over 3 years is better than gary neal 15 over 3 or something that will make you mediocre
LA's quest for relevancy, despite mediocrity is hilarious. They should just frickin build on what they have and swing big after Kobe retires.
Warriors: Green Clippers: Paul Pierce Blazers: Aminu Grizzles: Brandon Wright, Barnes Spurs: Green, Leonard Mavs: No Alice and Chandler. Pelicans: Asik, Davis. Rockets: ????Nothing. Rockets is the only western playoff team that nothing has happened right now. Ok, maybe I should thank god at least we are not Mavericks.
Glad to see you've polled the Sixers fans. Most sixers fans I see on r/nba are pretty excited with the trajectory of their team.
I think we have a chance. Somewhat lost in the hoopla yesterday was a leak from LMA's camp that he liked SA and HoU and that had good relationship with POR GM Olsney. It got interpreted that POR was still in mix. However, there is another interpretation. "I wanna be in Texas and like HOU/SA equally. I like Olshey and would not mind doing him a solid with a S&T to help him restock with a tJones/DMo, whatever. if that's not there I just slide into SA cap space" It may sound strange that a player would think of helping out former GM, but players are humans who value Friendships and relationships. if he is equally attracted to HOU and SA, why not help out a friend?
This is amazing. Thanks Malakas and CyberX; not even on reddit right now. Silence from us, I see it as a good thing, I prefer my FO to be solid and quiet, you don“t take business decisions when heated. Look at what carazyness brings you, Kings, Lakers, Knicks, all empty handed, all are pure show. Guessing we are focusing on Aldridge, our guys and see which 3andD guys are leftover after all the overpayment. This is a year where I can see how continuity helps us.

My wife, who supplies the common sense in our marriage, says this is the year to keep the roster intact going into next season. She's probably right. I just wish we had a knock-down 3&D threat alongside Harden.
Isnt cyberx a Lakers fan? If so that is where the "damn" is coming from. Having Wade/Kobe combo is an expensive one for some oldies.
Lakers are better off getting a top 3 pick and letting Kobe walk after next year. If they hit on the Randle, Russell, and a potential top 3 pick next year, they would be the 2012 Thunder in a couple of years with the financial backing to keep it all together. Every time the Lakers have made a dynasty like run started with the draft. They've only had one major free agent acquisition in their entire franchise history with Shaq. Kareem and Gasol came via trade (Kobe technically did as well but since it was on draft day I count him as more via the draft).
Its amazing that a guy that was once so valuable and successful for the Lakers like Kobe was is now so detrimental for their interests. They will not go anywhere as long as Bryant is still there, life's strange surprises....
Looks like our avenues to improve our PG situation and wing depth are through a trade. The FA market is just so dry in that regard.
