Call me crazy but if we could nab Tobias for a good deal, I'd be more likely to part with Ariza for a PG trade.
I wish LA would hurry and just announce he's going to SA why delay the inevitable. Or at least inform Houston so they can get on with it before we lose our guys.
Note that those are "High Value Analytic Players... according to Bryan Colangelo." He basically ruined the Raptors as GM before stepping down in 2013. He got two 1st round picks and a trade exception from Miami for Bosh. Yeah, it wasn't really news at all. Someone was breaking up the monotony of the thread with a Morey acquiring donuts joke.

The more I think about LMA to the Suns, it makes sense. It's the only place where he'd be the undisputed alpha dog. He'd be a conquering hero and the most revered Sun since Barkley. If Bledsoe was at that meeting, then they must have pitched to him the ability to keep him in addition to Knight and Chandler. Even in San Antonio he'd have to live up to Duncan's legend and Kawai would at least be as popular. I still expect him to choose the Spurs but I could see the appeal of the Suns.
i'm surprised the knicks haven't snagged him up yet. i remember during the season he said he wanted to play for them. he puts up good stats and hit a few GWs, but IMO, i don't think he's significant in helping a team win. i feel like the pistons would be the team to overpay for him. celtics need a SF as well though.
