I'm not sold. Trevor was just such a huge part of what we were able to do. If there was a way to keep him and get LMA too, I'd feel differently.

ETA: A likely way to keep him, that is. I believe there are technically ways you could, but they don't seem feasible.

Party balls and show LMA some serious love.

Houston wants LMA AND Josh Smith. They're willing to sacrifice depth, DMo and Terrence though.

Yeah, this is how I read it. He posts his source and opinion next to each other.

Absolutely.....he's what we need but he can't get got. We'd have to gut more for him than LMA I think

We were without two starters and made it to the Conference finals. I'd be good rolling with:
    Bev/Terry/Johnson
    Harden/Brewer
    Ariza/Dekker
    DMO/Josh/Harrell/Jones
    Howard/Capella

A more reliable perimeter shooter would be huge as well.

I also hope that Howard & JSmoov are spending the summer working on their FT. It amazes me that after all these yrs Howard still flicks and pushes his FT. Dude needs to spend time with Murphy. Both of these guys should be embarrassed how pathetically they shoot FT.

Not saying it works thay way, but the odds would be 4:3 in favor of the spurs if that's what he's getting at. So 57% Spurs and 43% Rox

50% chance Rockets make a signing tonight but my gut feeling is 83% chance so in-total I see the Rockets making a move in 3 days. Spurs sign Aldridge with 4% chance.

If Houston is able to keep everyone from last season they really need two things

    1) an actual backup PG - this can happen two ways - Free Agency or trade or hope that Nick Johnson develops into a capable backup PG

    2) a knockdown wing shooter off the bench.

I mean even if Brewer walks and we're able to keep Smith

    Bev/Johnson(or new PG/Terry
    Harden/FA Shooter
    Ariza/KJ/Dekker
    Jones/Smith/Harrell
    Dwight/DMo/Capela

KJ is not important in the near future.

If Morey strikes out again, then he might as well lock up Bev. After this, the only possibility is Durant. Morey is inching closer and closer to going all in.

I also don't think Corey is a huge loss...he bailed us out during some key moments this year, but those moments can be avoided. He still doesn't defend well and can't shoot. I'm fine with Dekker taking his place.

    Paul / Rivers
    Reddick / Crawford
    Pierce / Stephenson

    Clippers back court looks great

front court depth is still ****ed up though, and if they loose Jordan, it will be REALLY ****ed up.

    Griffin / Davis / Turk
    Jordan? / Udoh

Someone needs to tell LMA that Duncan is 39 (and will turn 40 before the playoffs start), Ginobli is 37 (38 in a few days), and Popovich is literally collecting social security checks. Not only these 2 players, but point guards don't age well and Parker will be 34 next playoffs.

Come to San Antonio and join the AARP! If he wants winning in his future, it's in Houston.

Not believing anything on Aldridge until we hear from Woj or Amick.

You're right! Everyone else is picking up wing players because the league is going towards speed and 3 point shooting, yet the Rockets are trying to get bigger!!!

WE NEED TO GO AFTER BLEDSOE, NOT ALDRIDGE

You have a lot more faith in Dekker's ability to contribute from Day 1 than I do, which is fine.

It's been obvious he's Spurs-bound long before Hoopshype reported it lmao
