I could be overreacting, but it seems to me that there's a decent chance of going into this season with an appreciably worse team than we had in May -- due mostly to factors beyond our control.

You're not overreacting. It's a very real thing that, at this point, might even be likely. I never wanted a mitigated "3rd Star". This past season showed 2 + great depth is the way to go. Look at the Warriors.

Damn... Well the Clippers just got a steal. Like I said all along, I find it so difficult to believe DJ can walk away from the Clips and not mend the fences. Nobody is better for him and his style of play that makes him special like CP3.
