If LA chooses the suns. Morey will "help them" by taking on Bledsoe to help them make room. Morey is great at finding that third team to help grease the wheels.
Rockets aren't leaky like the rest of these teams. LA media has been saying he was impressed by the analytics, but other than that nothing.
you sound like some spoiled brat from last year free agency. why dont you have patience and let the events unfold?
9 seasons in Portland 5 playoff appearances 4 first round exits Brandon Knight ? PJ Tucker/Marcus Morris LaMarcus Aldridge/Markieff Morris Tyson Chandler/Alex Len You're right, better PHX than SA from HOU standpoint.
Sky isn't falling. LMA isn't a franchise cornerstone type player unless he has a lot of talent around him like in San Antonio. He's not necessarily the only "missing piece" around. If this means we keep Ariza, this might be a blessing in disguise. His contract was a bargain last year and by next year it will be a robbery - and we will have space. There are still some free agents available that can make an impact as everyone chews up their cap space. Cyber mentioned Collison. How perfect would that be? Then we can re-sign Bev and play them in platoon. That combo is far better that Llull, whose game is predicated on being more physically dominant than other guards in Europe. If Llull can't handle the heat then he won't be a real contributor. Not sure what he wanted or why he decided to pass on us but you're talking about a guy who probably tops out as a decent 6th man - if that. Re-signing Bev, signing someone like Collison, keeping Motiejunas and Ariza, packaging Jones/Llull rights/Papa etc... for a trade down the road, re-signing Smith for cheap, developing Dekker, Capela (and maybe Harrell).... that really isn't so bad when you have your cornerstone already in Harden and an excellent second piece in Howard with a chance to sign a true superstar in 2016. Lets see how this plays out.
Brandon wright is gone. So basically there are only two good bigs one middle tier and two scrubs left. And there are 4 teams. One will be left with scrubs. I bet its milwaukee. Fml.
while this is good that Morey and Co definitely have their leaks on lock its surprising very little has been said from LMA's camp about the meeting. I mean the one bit we have heard so far has been good (via LA Times) but it seems the Spurs are the top dog still. It will be interesting how it plays out. I think LMA is a great player but I am curious myself to see how his strengths would fit into the Rockets' philosophy of basketball
Aldridge is leaving a consistent playoff team in beautiful Oregon for a team that hasn't sniffed the post-season in half a decade? Would be an odd move.
hmm so if Dallas misses on DeAndre not many choices they can go with - Monroe? RoLo? that said I really hope they do get DeAndre - doesnt present a huge upgrade for them and makes the clippers a whole lot worse
