We still needed another guy like Ariza though. Hopefully Morey can do something to get another post defender, I like Elton Brand for something like BAE, or use our TPE + picks or other assets to target guys like Taj Gibson or Paul Millsap.
Exactly. Jordan Hill just got 9M a year. Something else to think about. If we sign Ariza AND match Parsons, with Deng likely going to Miami, Vince in Memphis, who is left for Dallas? Aminu??
What about it? That was a great signing and we all should and would've loved a guy like that at 6 million. Would leave 9 million to spend on one / two other good players.

Ariza and Parsons are nothing alike. And I'm not advocating signing one over the other, I say we get both.
yes. that's my point. He's actually a better player than Ariza. it was a freaking great signing, and he cost about half of what Ariza is gonna cost. I mean ...i don't like Hawes personally, just as a basketball player. Anyone who wipes their butt with the president's face has a screw loose. I never did that, not even during the Bush years.

Signing both is redundant. They play the same position. Throwing one at PF wont help crap either, especially vs teams like memphis, portland, the clippers, and any other team with a real pf and c.
