That still doesn't escape the fact that Brewer's contract shouldn't be anything more than what Aminu got.
Hmmm... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Sources: Danny Green has agreed to a 4 year, $45 million deal with the Spurs</p>— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) <a href="https://twitter.com/Chris_Broussard/status/616267002026553344">July 1, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
When a 30 year old volume shooting PF is your franchise player.... you know you have long term problems. Aldridge and another player may get the Lakers into the 8 seed but nothing farther.... he isn't Shaq and they don't have an 20 year old Kobe.
Only??? Oh then thats fine. I thought that rolo maybe take a couple mil discount if he can play in la but if we are talking about a 5+ difference..who in his right mind would take on swaggy p?
Cleveland has to send out salary to take in Brewer. From Portland's side, taking on Haywood means absolutely nothing. He's completely non-guaranteed. They might even be able to get something for his contract.
Love cyberx's contributions here on the board; but, yes, there is the Lakers cheerleader bit from time to time. "We're gonna get DeMarcus and LaMarcus and JaMarcus and VaMarcus..." But it would certainly be easy for the Lakers to get him. We, however, have work to do. And cooperation of other teams is needed.
Puts them with the Rockets, most likely needing a sign and trade to make it work for LMA unless Duncan and Ginobli are re-signing for dirt cheap.
Dude is a REALLY good player. Incredibly underrated because he plays in SA and because Kawhi gets all the love. If Klay Thompson is a max player than Danny Green is an $11 million player.
It does nothing. They can resign BOTH Green and Leonard after signing LMA. All this means is that Green is staying a Spur.
