I dont believe jack **** about us going all in for Bledsoe and there's several obvious reasons: - he wants max, cannot offer it. Other teams can offer more - it goes against our recent moves and statements made. No flexibility ring a bell? - injury history - we do not have much to offer Plowman, Drew and whoever: thank you for playing.
Plowman said he believes we will end up with Dragic after all is said and done, so he may partly agree with you...
If we trade for Dragic or Bledsoe it's because we believe they can be the third star on a championship team.
Strong rebuttal. Instead of admitting you were wrong (again), you choose to ignore those that throw pesky facts in your face. That sounds about right, based on your history here. Sorry all for dirtying up this thread. I just get sick of these frauds that bring down the quality of the GARM and make it more difficult for us to keep track of and engage with the legit guys.
"Hey Ryan" "Sup Morey" "I would like Dra.....Bledsoe, our numbers shows us that dra...excuse me bledsoe, can be an allstar. Could we work out a sign and trade?" "Hold on k?"He wants bledsoe! Good we are on the right track. Lets keep him. "daryl?" "yes?" "We will keep bledsoe, how bout dragic" "deal!"
You guys that want Dragic have to remember...you're going to have to pay him around $18+ million per season. He's already good. He'll look like a total stud here with Harden and Dwight and some team will offer him a max contract, which for a 7-year vet will start at around $18 million per season.
Agree. I would prefer we focus on PF, but an impact player at either position would go a long way towards improving our outlook for next year.
Quick question for CF. Is there really something happening where we are likely getting Dragic? Most of the people now are drawing up scenarios but yesterday everyone was discrediting insiders. Is something really bound to happen?
Dragic is certainly more plausible than Bledsloe, mainly because Dragic fits nicely into our 8.4 trade exception. Bledsloe seems a severe long shot. I can't even come up with a scenario where we sign and trade for him where all things are equal (e.g. Bledsloe gets paid more than the Suns are offering, Suns get good value in the S&T, and the Rockets have the cap space to execute the S&T). I just can't see it working. I'd say the Suns will resign Bledsloe and the Rockets will get Dragic for the Pels pick and an overseas player. Then the Rockets will spend the MLE and BAE on players that are waiting for them. Perhaps the Matrix.
