I am in the stance that losing Ariza would hurt our perimeter defense, but I do want LMA on this team though. I am sure Morey could find a capable replacement for Ariza.

Morrey has already lined up a trading partner for ariza. Someone who can absorb him and give no salary back? Who can it be. For sure they will have to give a asset back though.

 

Hard to believe he'd meet with Toronto and not at least talk to us - I think we'll get a shot. Portland needs a SG and young talent to build around Lillard - a package involving Ariza + TJones + Capella etc. isn't too farfetched.
