Not only that we need someone to guard Steph Curry, we need someone that Steph Curry has to guard. That is the best way to beat the Warriors. The whole playoffs he had to guard mostly backup PGs. We need a PG that can put him on his heels a little bit.

Yes, Llull is first priority at point guard. Reach out to Love and Aldridge? If not them, start reaching out to his own guys, trying to re-sign them and scour the rest of the FA market. I don't buy the Draymond report because they aren't going to hold up their cap space for 3 days. If they spend the entire MLE on Llull, what are they left with? Just minimum signings? That'd stink.
I'm inclined to think that a Lowry deal preserves the MLE and more directly effects July. That said, I expect to see Llull suiting up and a quality 3rd guard come in. I expect we'll lose KJ and Bev while retaining the other FAs.
Cyber any news on llull? When should we expect a definite answer one way or another? Are we going to wait the whole july for him to make up his mind?
stuckey or lin would be fine as bench players, but we still need a starting PG. this offseason seems even less certain than last year. between llull and bev needing to make decisions, jones with 1 foot out the door, dmo recovering from surgery, brewer and smith and KJ possibily bolting, morey chasing stars again -- no idea what this roster will eventually look like
