Lmao at 5%. I'm actually glad holic is a great writer. While his predictions can be wrong he does seem like he enjoys writing. And if he enjoys writing then that increases the value of this board. The Internet has become littered with Gifs/Memes so anytime anyone cares to write his or her opinions, albeit sometimes against the normal group think it should be welcomed.

You know it takes a special kind of narcassist to ignore the fact that 95% of the people on this board think his posts are material for ridicule and foder while continuing to believe being right 100% of the time only 5% of the time makes him more knowing than everyone else. I'm serious that takes a very rare and socially awkward kind of person.....
Its also quite sad that 95% of the board always reply and dont mind putting him down with insults. You could just move on or argue his points in a basketball perspective. You do know that half the league have GMs and agents that say something that turns out to be wrong 60% of the time because many things in the nba change on a daily basis, its not hard to ignore and move on instead the whole board makes it their responsibility to shoot him down... when in truth some of the things he says has more basketball insight then most posters

It's also sad when people don't realize he does it to himself. If it were simply about the content of his posts or his perspective that'd be one thing. But it's not his content....and it's sad some people still can't understand that and only indulge him. If content were all that mattered in communication, community and relationships wouldn't be difficult at all. The reality is we live in a world where how you say things matters just as much as what you say.
Right there with you. Some of it is far-fetched or ridiculous, but the dude loves basketball and I will never shun somebody that's as into basketball as he is. Not fully defending him, but I do think he brings some interesting conversation some of the time. Understood that some people are easily annoyed, but it is possible to steer clear of his posts if you want to.
agreed 100% but who cares about his ignorance iam here to learn more about my team and more about the league, while maybe getting inside inof every now and then, not here to engage in a wrestling match of whos right and wrong, but i do get your point. Sometimes its better to look the other way because that wont effect you one way bit, unles you enjoy going back and forth of useless gossip talk, thats another thing
I tend to just scroll past certain posters that hardly ever contribute much worth. Unless I have hours of free time, when I see one of BBholic's 10 paragraph replies for example, I just scroll on through.
