This is the interwebz, and it's Clutch's site, and frankly the posters here have built this up into something FAR greater than what it should have been. Dude said we were getting a PG from Phoenix. We got Ish Smith. DEAL WITH IT. Don;t expect these guys to have 100% solid info. They hear things that don;t pan out. Doesn't mean they don't have a legit source of info, it just means that the nature of the game is that there are lots of moving pieces and deals come together and fall apart all the time - and at a rapid pace that sometimes defies concrete timetables. Who the hell are we to brand this guy as either an "insider" or a pretender? Maybe he's neither. Maybe - I suspect - he's just a guy (who happens to be related to Mark Berman) who occasionally hears things, and gets carried away on the intwrwebz. Doesn't mean you don;t listen, but for a prudent person it *should* mean you don;t stand on his every word as gold. Learn a freaking lesson here, people.
