I guess Ricky Rubio and 1st pick for 4th pick is right on point if they want to rebuild. Not sure if it works that way or they need to match salaries, but seems legit because Rubio is locked into 4y/55$ contract. Wolves have Pekovic, Garnett will sign for vet. contract and I think they want to draft Russell or Mudiay and get rid of that huge contract "for free". They don't need bigs I guess.
Has it been reported that Sergio is being offered 6 mil? I really DONT know if its out there or not. But was told that is the number.
$6 million FOR THIS SEASON? Or $6 million TOTAL? If it's the former, my guess is that it's just rounding up from the full Non-Taxpayer MLE. If it's the latter, that may mean they're only offering a two-year deal at the Taxpayer MLE level (perhaps even leaving some room to sign the #32 pick with a portion of that MLE).
If Sergio Llull gets the FULL MLE then that means the Rockets will have to "draft and stash" with their 2nd round pick or trade it for pick(s) in a future draft. I really hate the NBA system where 2nd round picks have to dip into MLE money. There should be a 2nd bucket for the 2nd round picks.
