Hey Cyber if you see this , do you have any new info on whether Love is really LA bound? Or all the rumours of him leaving are before his injury and now he changed his mind?
I hate to say it, but hopefully Morey let's go of Brewer in the offseason and try to snag a Mike Dunleavy in the offseason. Brewer has been completely hit or miss in the playoffs. He was instrumental in that game 6 vs the Clippers and had some big moments in that one 4th quarter vs Dallas. Outside of that, he has been an awful player in the playoffs. He's been overplaying in passing lanes unsuccessfully, playing bad defense in general, fouling jump shooters, taking bad shots on offense, and is just making dumb decisions in general.
The biggest myth in the world is Brewer being a solid defender. Dude is consistently gambling poorly or out of position. I like the guy and wouldn't mind him back, but I agree that he is very replaceable and it'd be a good idea to find an upgrade.
DM the GM has tried but first couldn't get him in a trade; then Junior wanted to be in Chi. Don't be so dratted quick to dis Brew.
I'm not quick to diss Brew, I love his hustle. But his IQ and style of play just have not been helpful consistently for this team in the playoffs. Hopefully he balls rest of the playoffs to shut me up. Dunleavy is a FA this summer BTW
It sounds like he's just saying, "If it happens, it happens. Either way, I'm in a good situation". He's not going to offend RM fans by saying he wants out/to leave.
