Yeah lets just pretend that replacing our best low post player, one of the best low post players in the league, the 2nd most important guy on this team so far this season in DMO with some scrub KPapa and we will be fine. LOL DMo shoots the 3 ball much better than KPap. Let that sink in. KPap is a scrub. We are not going anywhere with him trying to fill in for Dmo
Papa is not a scrub. He's just an inconsistent rookie. Which is not what you wanna be relying on come playoff time. But the Rockets don't have a choice unless McHale is content to just shorten the rotation to 8 guys. Personally I think that's a terrible idea with Dwight's health still in question and Terry and Pepperoni both 37.
It's going to be tough if Kpap has to play significant minutes in the wake of DMo's injury. 5ish games left then playoffs ANDD after coming off a significant amount of time not playing. Same Ol' story with the Rockets. Shows promise but the injury bug infects us again.
Last year we only played 3 big men, and 9 guys total in the post season. It's not ideal, and we may need spot minutes from other guys, but playing 3 big in the playoffs is doable.
Yeah, but look at what happened against a team like Portland. And that was before they added Kaman to their rotation.
The Spurs primarily played Duncan, Splitter, and Diaw last year, with just a few minutes for guys like Baynes and Bonner.
