And my thoughts for you and your family codman. Life is way too short, it's very sad how quickly loved ones can go. But it makes me that much more thankful for the time i'v been granted with them. Prayers.

Sounds like Pablo at least and possible KJ were last minute deals they pulled off only when the other ones fell through.

Just pointing out the obvious but screw the Blazers....

I'm still salty about them moving up to take Roy in the 06 draft one spot before where Houston was rumored to have a deal to move up. I know Roy's career didn't pan out, but I'm still mad about it because Houston was in no man's land at the time. There was also another player they got in the draft and I can't remember who it was, but I seem to recall it was another Houston target. Then there was last year's masterpiece of heartbreak theatre in the playoffs. Screw Portland.

Damn, TRob gonna be bought out and will be left without a team again. Did he improve in Portland? I always liked his energy when he was here.

    J is hickson??

And yeah, doc said he didn't know who they were going after in Denver, just knew it was a guard..i figured it was Afflalo, since it doesn't sound like Lawson was shopped around much, if at all.

Wait til Kwame checks in and sees that...

I believe "J" is Jason Smith (Knicks).

Would be great if we could get Ray Allen to step back on the court in a Rockets uni.

Robinson is still physically a beast, and rebounds like a maniac. His defense, is also decent and actually shows spurts of brilliance sometimes when he has his good moments. Of course though, he is a lost player and hasn't really figured out how to play in the flow of the nba offense or pick up a rhythm. But hey, if Whiteside can find his head out of nowhere so can Robinson!

I'd definitely be down to sign him, and yes as our backup C. He can rebound just as well as Dorsey, is way more athletic and has a chance of upside if he can find his head.

Says he already has an agreement to be bought out on the link I found

As the Original Thomas Robinson Hater here, I have to say that I'm down with getting him now for minimum salary. He at least does a few things well and has some upside.

The issue, though, is that Robinson is unlikely to choose Houston. His priority is reported to be going to a place where he has the best chance at getting minutes. The Rockets already have plenty of bigs who are ahead of him.

Frankly, the team that he should sign with is the Lakers. The Lakers have nothing to lose and should really throw Robinson out there over pretty much any of their bigs. At least TRob has some upside unlike guys like Boozer and Hill.

I hate to say it, but McGee would be great given our current situation

I think Cod was alluding to Perk when he mentioned Nasty. Perk a Beaumont boy and could bring some size and attitude vs Doorstop.

I never really liked Perk, but he may be just what we need going into the play-offs.

I mean, we can basically guarantee him our backup C spot. We would be cutting Dorsey to sign him, most likely. Although, once Howard is healthy, and Jones, your right I don't see much playing time between Motie/Smith/Jones/Howard. But, any injuries or foul trouble and Rob would be first runner up. And on a playoff team like us, and with Smith expiring this offseason, we'd still be a pretty good opportunity for him.

If we were to pickup 2 guys, who would be our other cut besides Dorsey though? That would be a tough one, cutting any of Terry, Papanikolaou, Johnson or Capela would be a b****. I personally think it would be either Capela or Papa(probably Papa).

Thank guys. It was good fun. Thanks for sharing your information with us. I apologize for people questioning your credibility. Clutch should just change the first post to making a list of credible sources.
