Suns should take that and run, if we're being honest. Rockets looking like they're gonna get left behind this deadline. Too bad.

The thing about the Miami deal is that most GMs don't last long enough to reap the benefit of the trade. That and McRoberts may not even be considered a positive trade asset at this time. For get Jones+NO pick, just the pick itself is worth more than the Miami deal.
You guys have to think about one thing when considering hat we offer. We couldn't beat Mavs offer for Rondo.
Or Morey didn't wanna offer the NOP pick and T-Jones for a player who will likely leave after this season. Dragic would reportedly resign with a team like the Heat.
Agreed, the deal is garbage. That may be the best they can get if the Rockets don't believe they could re-sign him, but that doesn't make it a great deal. Chances are those two first round picks ultimately end up amounting to nothing but scrubs, so you are trading Dragic for 3 scrubs, a decent bench player and a MLE guy. Hooray.
Polls are now closed on the East Coast. Only Western Conference teams can do trades for the next hour.
Well, there is the question what do you value more? A lottery pick or 2 late first rounders... I'd say a lottery pick. The rest of their offer is pretty bad. TJones would be better than any of their Players, Papa is an expiring with at least some potential - we also have several euro Players. Personally I would still take the Rockets deal, just because of the lottery pick and TJones.
This. Dragic on the Heat make them a playoff team in the East and those picks not very good. The only question is does how bad does Morey want Dragic? Because he sure has enough assets to get him without hurting the teams future really.
With Dragic, Bosh, and Wade (for a couple more seasons), you realize the Heat would be a perennial playoff team in the East, right? Those first rounders would be mid to low at best.
