agreed. they have a chance to remake the team by moving guys who are butting heads with the coach. Afflalo was one of those guys. Lawson has to be on that list as well, but they obviously can't look like they NEED to move him (they clearly want to). It seems like they could pull the trigger for the right offer.

 

It will now really get REAL after 2 p.m. if we don't make a major deal today.

I hope Morey can pull something out of left field here. I'm getting worried.

 

Afflalo is a decent get.

He will replace Mathews when he gets his huge contract.

I don't know what to think from a Blazers perspective.

I think he makes them a little bit better, but not by much.

When Matthews leaves, this will be a worse off team.

 

If you want to wait for a savior, cool. At this point, I'm interested in anybody who can make plays and take some of the burden off Harden. If you can't get somebody who puts you over the top, you still need a secondary creator so Harden is not dead by April.
