Well he would be a definite upgrade for the team even if he comes off the bench. Plus he has been a bit of a Rocket killer in some games against us and you know how Morey loves Rocket Killers

 

I get the sense Codman is saying its not gonna be a big Splash but like Deron and other pieces to help bench etc. I know Terry is probably gonna have to go out but man I really wanted him for the playoffs, seems good for the locker room.

My guess would be that they stuck his name out there for a split second just to guage the value and they weren't blown away. All the GM's that want a PG upgrade are going after Goran, and have Jackson as their backup option to trade for most likely.

Which.... is like two teams that actually need a veteran PG. The Rockets might very well prefer a Dragic rental for cheap vs. unloading all their assets on Lawson.

That roster imbalance isn't solved with bringing in Jose Calderon or Tim Hardaway Jr. Plus, I kinda don't trust Chris Broussard.

My guess is the "bigger" trade will happen between 11-12. Then a few smaller trades will trickle in after that.
