IF, and that's a big IF, if the NETS are willing to buy out D. Williams, just tell them that we will kindly take TWO of their big contracts off their hands and take Brook Lopez for Jones, Papa, Shved, Capella, Dorsey and Bev... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mvc8z4n and then also do a separate trade of Terry for J. Jack.... http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=k97ty6e That is if and only if they buy out D. Williams and he agrees to sign here then for the minimum. That would leave us with: D. Williams/J. Jack/I. Canaan Harden/N. Johnson Ariza/Brewer DMo/Smith Howard/B. Lopez/J. Jordan The trades work on the trade machine, but I haven't looked to see if we violate any other CBA rules. And we would still have only 12 players, so room to add 3 more if salary isn't a problem. I don't know how Williams would fell since Jack already took his starting job, so maybe we don't have to do that Terry for Jack trade, but I would prefer it. And I think we still would need to get a back up for Harden. And since we really wouldn't have many more trade pieces or be able to take on much salary probably, it would probably need to be a veteran signing for someone like R. Allen.
Everytime I think I'm a patient person, trade deadline day completely messes up that thought. I don't even need Rockets stuff, just give me anything NBA
This isn't Facebook like button only. I've seen lame movies which I e reviewed to others as horrible. But not for my vocal criticism they might have gone to see the movie. Commenting on something first make you like it. His point is spot on
I'm starting to wonder if Dragic is even worth it though. He's acting like a malcontent the last few days. He's trying to sabotage any effort the Suns make to deal him. And he's pretty much said outright(through his representatives) that he won't resign with the Rockets if he's traded here. We need a point guard. But I don't know if Dragic is the answer anymore.
There are a lot of different references in that post. Isaiah Thomas, Goran Dragic, Ty Lawson, among others... "The suspense is terrible...I hope it lasts."
cyber said that Nash is pushing hard for Dragic in LA so that's probably what codman is saying at the beginning. I didn't even know that Nash had much pull with management after the catastrophe that he has been over there.
But none of this hurts us. If you read his actions and not his words, he is only working to sabotage Phoenix's plans to drive his value high. By saying he will give no assurances to his next team, he is in effect greasing the wheels to get him traded. That threshold is lower than ever. And, by tanking his value, he has increased the chance that his next team maintains as much talent on board as possible. So far Dragic has actually HELPED the rockets.
And 3 first round picks for Faried and 4 for Lawson. Amirite?

Hearing Denver has been seeking a future first-rounder AND second-rounder for Arron Afflalo. They could feasibly move Crawford or Hawes, and they do have their fair share of expiring contracts. San Antonio also has both of its draft picks and a handful of expiring contracts. I just think both teams could use another piece or two, and they have enough assets to at least get something done that makes them slightly better.
