Yup and to pimp my own analysis : click here  Dallas will have caproom but which premier free agent will want to attached their prime years to: -a maxed-out Parsons -a fading Dirk ? Cuban will have to either overpay for B level talent or wait to surf in the clearance section again like how he did for Monta Ellis
Lots of great players will be willing to sign up to play under Carlisle, and lots of mediocre/washed up players like Ellis will find their careers rejuvenated when they get to play for the 2nd best coach in the league.
There is no "mix", people are simply throwing around ideas. Hell, I think half the trade rumors around the league source from people reading random CF trade ideas, and morph into rumors somewhere along the way. All we have is a couple of guys saying something will happen by Saturday with a PG from Phoenix. Of course, there's no way that information could have had anything to do with the PG we just signed... who played in Phoenix last season. Don't hold your breath. Things will probably slow down since the clock isn't ticking as hard with Parsons gone. I am sure FO is looking at trade possibilities at this point to improve more than anything else, and Morey's trades usually hit us right out of left field.
Um the Pelicans pick plus others isn't delusional for Dragic The Suns have 4... 4.. four point guards now ( assuming Bled comes back ) there is no way they keep all 4 and Dragic would be the most likely to get traded because of his player option next year.
A guaranteed lottery pick plus Jones is more than they're gonna get from any other team that needs a PG. IF he is in fact availible, then I don't see them getting a much better offer.
Hey Drew, what will be your excuse when tomorrow passes and nothing happens. My vote, you stop posting bogus trade incomings and Twitter claims about the Rockets unless already confirmed. Oh, and yes - I think you know about as much as I do about what the Rockets offseason plans are. Good Day Sir!! DW
Bledsoe/Thomas/Ennis Dragic/Thomas Tucker/Green Morris/Morris Plumlee/Len What's the issue? They'll package some guys (Ennis/Green/Morris) with the Lakers' lottery pick to upgrade the frontline and continue to try and trade for Love. They're not looking for more assets.
Crazy Kids!! Did you read my complete statement? I questioned what his excuse would be if nothing happens.
If I'm getting such garbage offers for my all nba guard league wide, I'd rather take my chances at resigning him next year and keeping him. But I don't believe for a second, that's anywhere near the assets they'd attract with him and some combination of picks/players they own. Why would they want to severely delude their talent and assure their place in the late lottery for the foreseeable future?
They're assured a spot in the lasted lottery anyway.it simply makes NO sense to pay three PGs at least 7mil a year. It's possible they just let Bledsoe wal in stead, but I don't see why they would have gone after Thomas if they intend on keeping both Gogi and Bledsoe. I'm not saying that's a great offer, but of the other teams that will be looking for a PG, who can beat it? Don't underestimate that picks value either, it's extream only valueble. Tell me this, I know we raped OKC in the harden trade. But is jones, Canaan, NOP pick that much worse than what we gave up for harden?
