I would replace Jones with Dmo but i can't stomach that thought. Dmo is clearly the x factor for any deal. I wouldn't even trade Dmo for Goran straight up considering contractual situations.

I agree. Look at the market of free agent PG's this Summer, and look at how many of the top names out there are PG's. He's really taking a gamble on free agency that's for sure. Given the fact that he's restricted, he could have cost himself a ton of money by turning that down and gambling on some team making him a max offer. Which team out there is doing that??? New York.... LA? I dunno. Houston can and probably wants to still take a chance on this guy, but there is a substantial amount of risk involved if you give up real assets. My guess is Presti budges at the very, very last minute, and drops his asking price maybe in half from multiple first rounders to maybe a late first and a role player, or multiple 2nd rounders and a role player.
wow. well i hope clutch keeps this open. the one thing i could see getting it locked would be the insider angle. and someone getting mad about that and put pressure on clutch closing it. thanks for the info
