I'm seeing Kevin Martin's name pop-up. I agree Minny may look to deal him because he is old and is affecting Wiggin's touches, but I think a buyout is unlikely and if no deal gets done I think K-Mart plays out the year. As a Minny fan living in Houston, I would love a Martin to Rockets trade. Was already blessed with Brewer going from one of my favorite teams to the my other favorite team, and this would be awesome. I don't think his attitude is really a problem, if anything he is more indifferent than anything. I don't see him complaining about playing behind Harden, Kmart is just not the egotistical type. He once even said last year that he considered himself the 4th option on offense (despite being the 2nd highest scorer on the team). He played a big role for OKC in the playoffs a few years ago, and could do similar here.
Makes more sense than the Kings when they have Darren Collison and the Celtics with Evan Turner and Marcus Smart(their future).
Yeah I think Marcus Smart is going to be their future and he would end up in the same situation as Phoenix excpet he would be on a for sure lottery team
He said an insider on a Bucs bored said that the inner circle of the Bucks did not consider Knight a part of their core. They consider their core Jabari, Giannis, and Middelton. He said for the RIGHT PRICE he could be traded. I wasn't very serious in my response though.
Lol da fuq is that guy smoking? If we are all in for Cousins, I would assume Dwight may be done for quite a while <iframe style="display: none;" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="no" id="rufous-sandbox" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Can we not get George Hill? I wouldn't mind bringing him in. Smart, veteran, good shooter, can play off or on ball.
I'd be happy to get George Hill, but I don't think he's a needle mover like Dragic. He's an upgrade, but not sure if a big enough one to put us in title contention. Still, I wouldn't be mad that we got him.
Im sure they have already had several formal "working" proposals sent both ways, but nobody is signing on the dotted line until they know for sure these are the best and final offers. Given the Celtics have such a plethora of disposal trade assets, I would have to think that the Suns will hold on as long as they can to at least create more and more leverage to get another pick or two out of Houston. But yes as others mentioned the Plumlee combination is most likely targeted at the Rockets and other playoff teams that are trying to win now. It definitely helps swallow the pill of losing a coveted young big like Jones or D-Mo and solves depth issues that most teams have at the 5.
Since it's already crazy in here, I think we will win it all this year with: Dragic/Lawson Harden/Martin/Crawford Ariza/Brewer Dmo/Smith/Jones Howard/Cousins/Plumlee Damn the CBA and what other teams want!
Reality is that up until a trade is completed, it is all posturing by the GM's. A GM might think they have a trump card, but the other GM might have something completely different in mind. i can see why Doc Rocket and CyberX get frustrated with clutchfans. here they are getting hot off the stove info, but since nothing came out, they are grilled by a few idiotic posters (fans, cynics, employees of NBA teams, etc). Hopefully something comes out of the talks. Rockets need better shooters and offense. if not Harden is going to expell all his energy before the playoffs.
