Doc's hearsay reports also say that dragic is desperate to return to Phoenix which makes zero sense.

Anyone else notice that it looks like DocRocket is wearing armor in his twitter picture? Anyone else know who wears armor? (Knights)
Does anyone else see that from the beginning of his twitter tenure, DocRocket has predicted that Brandon Knight will be the future of our team?

    Idiot McHale

Dragic wants to be primary handler on the first team and here you want him off the bench

    Great selling point

I know Clutch and others interacted with Goran on a personal level when he was hear and the narratives you hear sound NOTHING like Goran the person. The guy loved playing in Houston, and surprisingly to some LOVED McHale.

Getting him on the phone today will be a challenge to say the least, but it would make a huge difference if he could talk to Morey or especially McHale.

I'm not so sure if Goran really understands the business side of things as well, and I'm not sure he realizes what his agency is trying to do with him. The money and the initial fame of going to New York or LA would be nice, but there is serious ramifications that could hurt him on a personal level. He just doesn't seem like the type of person that would want all of that attention and scrutiny.

From what i understand from what doc is saying.. dragic is spitefully tempting morrey to trade for him wasting assets and then abandon the team in the summer..?? Does this seem to anyone sane? I mean u can feel slighted and not want to get traded but to want to scdew the team? Too far fetched..

I don't understand Dragic's hate for Houston. He had his best years here in Htown (besides second go round in PHX), without his years in Houston he maybe still be a backup/journeymen in this league, if this is really true about Dragic, I really don't want him on this Houston team.

Quite a few players over the years. Besides Goran and Bev, I know Budinger, Jordan Hill, and a few others were represented by him as well. They definitely have a working relationship so Duffy obviously knows what buttons to push, and boy did he push them yesterday afternoon by pushing the whole "Morey treats players like assets" narrative.

He knew exactly what he was trying to do there, and what hot button he was trying to push. Mostly because he doesn't want Dragic in Houston just as Fegan didn't want Dwight in Houston. More $ in LA or New York FOR THEIR BUSINESS.... not necessarily for the player.

Its all business from what I can see.

Keep in mind that Duffy doesn't really have many true superstars in large markets right now from what I can see. Getting a true veteran max contract player in an LA or New York market is a HUGE business win for him and his company.

Dragic is doing the Rockets a favor! Dragic and Dmo are boys. He wants to come to Houston imo but wants Dmo here! Watch for it!

Same agent as Dragic, so if Dragic comes it might be a condition so as not to hurt his value for his upcoming contract. Also, Rockets may want to move on to a better backup anyway instead of having to pay Bev too much money. Both Jarrett Jack and D.J. Augustine would be better backups, if they are available for a decent trade from their teams. All of this is just speculation though.

    Only Morey really knows.

Playing Goran the first 8 minutes of every quarter and the last 2 minutes of the fourth is 34 minutes total, and all 12 minutes Harden isn't on the floor. It's perfectly doable. And Harden is hardly selfish when he is on the court.

I actually like the idea of tragic coming of the bench...i think that still means he will play major it pg minutes and backup harden at sg 25-30 min a night for sure...

My Question is ...Say Dragic told Mchale over the phone No way he resigns with houston , do you still make this trade?

EX: T Jones, NOP1, shved kpap for dragic, zoran....high price to pay for a rental

The goal obviously would be to win a championship if we made a trade like this...
Lets say the year ended and we didnt win the championship, here are my questions

Will we have enough salary cap to make a run at LA or Love if we traded ariza+dmo for a pg or a sf?

Will Dragic change his mind? ( i think this depends on our run in the playoffs)

How far is Lull away from playing in the NBA, and maybe make our need more specific?
