Fair enough. I'm only arguing that Phoenix could try this ploy because Morey hasn't been scared of rentals in the past. I don't think it would actually work.

Yet you say you don't know if Morey actually offered less. So you don't know if Morey is rational?

Ok thanks. Would be nice to be told in some way when it happens though. I even tried to find a set of rules somewhere. No luck.

Mr. Clutch fails to understand the mangitude of the risk here.
We are talking about giving one asset at least to make it worth it for the Suns to trade him.
We are talking about only 3 months to convince Dragic that Morrey won't trade him for whatever AND that he and Harden will have found perfect chemistry.
    And after those 3 months : throw a max of 5 years to a 29 y.o.
That's what this risk is about.
BTW Dragic could very well say no to the max anyway if he doesn't like Morey OR if he thinks that in NY and LAL he can make it up with endorsements.

I think the moves that he has done in his career as a GM is enough to where we should give him the respect of calling him a rational person. Thinking that he'd offer MORE for a player that says he won't sign to stay if traded for than he would offer before that was known is pretty crazy and counter-intuitive

The Gasol trade was all but done, before stern stepped in and nixed it....

Hmm now that makes it more clear why Duffy doesn't want Dragic in Houston...

Completely fair. Neither do I. They are desperate though.

It isn't as far as I know. It was an interesting analytical piece comparing DMo to Dwight post ups. It is a competing Rockets fansite so I guess that's why it's banned?

Now that's a Wojbomb, it would be pretty crazy if that's the reason for Dragic not being willing to sign a deal in Houston.

Beverley's play has hurt Beverley's earning power.

he wouldn't offer more. But he would have to offer still one good asset.
Kings have assets and if they understand that Morrey is about to get him they can up their offer.

I'm tired of the control of agents. This is ridiculous.
Who else BDA have? Klay, Lavine, Wiggins? Do they have Rubio or Lawson?
