Yes! Rubio might even be a better fit here than Dragic. Pass-first PG who defends and rebounds. Shooting over 40% from 3 this year.
I'd still give up Jones for Dragic. Jones is almost 100% getting traded next season anyways. Getting Dragic now will help our championship push this season tremendously. Who knows how long Dwight is going to hold up. But I'm not willing to give up NOP pick

Possibly. Our starting 5 would have been the best in the NBA but our bench would have sucked since the starting 5 would pretty much hard cap us. Harden (14M) + Parsons (15M) + Howard (22M) + Bosh (20M) = 71M for 4 players lol At least Bosh decided to stay where is was. Dragic, as reported, is trying to go to a team that would offer him the max. Less respectable than Bosh staying on the team he had success/home with.

LOL if HOU OUT / IN: NOP 1st, Papa, Jones / Dragic just to make the Suns an offer they cant refuse and Dragic is forced to win a championship
Not really a new level-- Morey's done this before with Melo and Dwight. Both these guys made it public they didn't want to come to Houston and yet Morey offered to trade plenty of assets for them. The bet is that you can convince the guy to stay once he experiences success here. Yes, it is a risk. But Morey will take risks on guys not re-signing or guys getting injured because the bigger risk in the NBA is always not having enough talent. Whatever chances of HOU retaining Goran is bigger than the chances that DMo or the NOP pick develop into a Third Team All NBA player.

It's not about turning on people, people shouldn't respect losers that they say they're about winning yet bolt for money ala Bosh, Melo & now it's looking like Dragic. Never gave a **** that Iggy went to Golden State or that Dirk stayed in Dallas, I would've loved them in Houston, but at least they chose having a winning legacy over being another overpaid nobody that won't matter in a few years.
