For a superstar. Yeah right. DMo will never be an all-star. He will always be a good player that can't rebound and will make terrible passes when he is doubled. Over-rated.
Meh....I don't know about that. I think DMo's in the same tier as Nurkic but ahead of Len for sure. I like Len but I'd take DMo over him.
I proposed DMo for Williams and Patrick Patterson which is a fair trade for both teams. Patterson would present a 40% 3 point shooter who plays great defense and can move on the PNR. Williams would bolster a bench that has shown much improvement. I would then send that pick and filler to Phoenix for Dragic who has PHX by the nuts at this point. Dragic Terry Harden Williams Ariza Brewer Patterson Jones Dwight Dorsey That is a great squad.
What other futures can you disclose? What stocks should I invest in? DMo MAY never make the ASG but there is a 0% chance that there is a 0% chance. Let's trade him for a volume scorer and an undersized PF? You package him with an Ariza and NOP and you go for a player like Love if he is available. You don't give him to Toronto for two players that won't move the arrow to transfer our flawed team into a contender. Patterson ISN'T that good and he definitely isn't better than DMO NOW who is playing PF and Center while Dwight is out, I'd like to see PatPat try to defend 7 footers who are taller and stronger than him. Also Pat is many years older, DMo may never fully develop but there is a chance, you need to understand the concept of potential before you throw away your chips to make a lateral move.
Len is in his real rookie season after missing all the first and is 3-4 years younger than DMO. He has much more upside in defence and still show rapid improvement in offence. Amazing body control and longer than DMO. Definitely above DMO. Remember big men take years to develop. Len is still on the infancy of developing his potential.
Not as over rated as Lou Williams. And we don't need Patterson either, we need a center to replace Dorsey and a starting PG.
so Lou Williams and PP have more value than Dragic? Because at least you must agree that DMO> Nop pick?
I think he's rated appropriately. He's by far the best 4 on the Rockets roster, a legit young 7 footer with a polished post game who plays very solid defense....that's rare and very valuable.
I think DMo is more valuable because you have a sure thing. PHX is going to sell low on Dragic come the deadline. I could see Bledsoe and IT getting better as they get more touches with Dragic leaving, plus they have a rookie over there that needs to get on the floor. a 24 pick netted us DMo so its very possible this lottery pick that we have is going to play a huge factor in PhX eyes. Toronto though a fair trade was DMo for Williams. That is Toronto's opinion of him.
#1 we do not know if Progs actually has the inside stuff, nothing he has ever posted has come to fruition, nothing indicates he does. #2 if he infact has the goods and isn't just having fun playing Chris Broussard then just know Uriji is the most fierce negotiator in the NBA, He knew damn well it would take Lowry, JV or DeRozan to entice Morey to entertain a DMo package but he wanted to just make sure.
Yes and Larry Bird asked two first round picks to take back Lance the same guy that he himself three months ago had offered a contract to. So? FOs make offers to see if the other will bite doesn't mean it's their market value. Bledsoe and Dragic have proven that they work together meanwhile IT has proven that he can't work with anyone well and that's why he has the contract he has. Why would the Suns even prefer a low lottery pick in a weak draft over a sure thing who is still young in his rookie contract like DMO?
I dunno, but here are some of his scoops on draft night... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9044518&postcount=445 Then a little before the Rockets pick... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9044618&postcount=516 For reference, Early was there.
Well they could package picks to move up to get a better player, or they could try to do what Morey did and package them to take advantage of an owner being a cheapskate.
if you listen to other teams broadcasts, they all pretty much gush over DMO. Even last night the CLips broadcaster was saying how valuable DMO has become and how he gets better and better every game.
yup. people outside of houston dont know Dmo well at all. It's actually kind of similiar to when Asik was not widely known coming off the bench in Chicago and he was recruited by houston and most of the people just saw his stats and thought he was just another bench center.
